Here's to a Happy, Healthy 2010!

We had a wonderful Christmas with both of our families. They really spoil us! We both got a ton of great gifts and are so thankful to have wonderful, loving families to spend the holidays with.

2009 has been a great year for my family and me. I graduated from college, married my high-school sweetheart and best friend, earned my license to become a Registered Nurse, adopted two adorable puppies (love them), and much more! whew!

Over the past few weeks I have been thinking hard about what I would like to accomplish, or work towards in the new year. So, of course like everyone else I've come up with some New Year's Resolutions:

  1. Read the entire Bible www.ewordtoday.com/year/ - Many options on how to read the entire Bible. I think I'm going to try reading it in Chronological order.
  2. Complete the Couch to 5k (C25k) program http://www.coolrunning.com/ & Run (3) 5k's
  3. Go to the Gym 100 times.
  4. Try 2 new recipes each week- and post them here :)
  5. Eat my fruits and vegetables!!
  6. Read 25 books. On the list so far: finish the Jane Austen novels (6 left), some health related books, fiction, the rest TBD- taking recommendations!
  7. Make A's in all my classes
  8. Learn how to sew- even if it is just a pillow cover. I want to complete one sewing project, maybe take a class!

Hope to get these done the beginning of the year (January):

Purge our closets of un-loved clothing & organize the rest, organize guest room/ office, clean out pantry & fridge (Wish me luck). I might be brave enough to post some before and after pictures...ok maybe just after pictures!
