A few "after" pictures

Here are a few "after" pictures of our apartment. I have been trying to decorate since we moved in in July. But, we are very busy people around here and the time just slips away- with having a full time job and school work ;) We've made some progress though. Take a look...

I found these pictures on clearance at Kirklands (YAY)!! They look great over our bed. Definitely adds some visual interest to the wall.

Here is the guest room, don't you want to visit?! The furniture is from my old room at my parent's house and the quilt was made by my very talented mom as a wedding gift! :) Still need to find curtains and accessories for the room, but atleast there is a bed now.

Details of the quilt- it is beautiful! Too bad I have not cultivated my sewing genes yet.

September is National Sewing Month...maybe I should give it a try!
